The Hurtta Casual Y-Harness ECO is a reliable, do-it-all harness that fits all breeds and can be used for everything from daily walks to more strenuous activities.
Dog lovers that care about the environment as much as we do will appreciate that this new sustainable version repurposes recycled materials. The Casual Y-Harness allows the front legs to move freely, and it evenly distributes the force of pulls across the entire chest area.
Everything else Hurtta fans love about the original Casual Y-Harness is the same, including rugged quick-snap buckles for easy-on, easy-off dressing, adjustable chest circumference to find the right fit for your dog, comfortable, waterproof neoprene padding, front metal leash ring and bright 3M reflectors for better visibility in busy urban areas at night.
The Hurtta story began with our personal need and desire to protect our dogs from the cold and ever-changing, extreme conditions of the North.
We are from Finland, ”The wild North,” a place known for its pure and exotic nature and unrelenting winters. Originally, we were clothing industry professionals, and we were determined to make functional products for our own dogs while also developing a range of functional dog gear globally.
What started as a desire to make high-quality, weatherproof dog apparel and gear so that dogs and dog owners could defy the elements and enjoy the outdoors together in any season has grown into a greater mission to support and protect dogs in any way we can. That includes more sustainable manufacturing, packaging, and even our marketing materials because if it's better for the planet, it's better for dogs and the people who love them. We live for dogs because they live for us.
We're no strangers to the parks, trails, and training fields that dogs and their owners frequent every day. Our expertise stems from our extensive apparel industry and design experience, and from the bonds we have forged with other caring dog owners, dog trainers, and dog sport professionals around the world.
We love to outfit dogs but we also strive to channel their inherent goodness - as well as their special connection to us and the natural world they love to play in - to inspire people everywhere to do more, be more, and realize that we are all part of the nature. Our love for dogs and our 20-year history is evident in everything we do. We’re always exploring and experimenting, working and reworking, testing and retesting – until our dogs let us know that we got it right.
