Eye care for cats: Eye wash, eye wipes, and supplements
Cats love to rub their face up against various objects, which can sometimes get dirt and dust into their eyes causing irritation. You may see some eye discharge build up around their eyes. Keep their gaze sharp and bright with regular grooming including eye wipes to remove any debris from the outside of their eyes. Gentle eye drops can also be used to flush out any irritants and reduce inflammation. Some cats can get eye tear stains from a buildup of tears that are not able to drain properly.
