Bedding is the soft material that you line at the bottom of their habitat, which gives small critters the opportunity to do their favourite things: hide, burrow and nest. It provides warmth and safety and is an important part of their home! The bedding also acts as litter, and absorbs waste to help keep their home clean.

Carefresh bedding is made from “comfyfluff,” a natural reclaimed paper fiber that is biodegradable and compostable. It is soft, ultra absorbent, and great at controlling odours. Paper fibres are safe even if ingested, and create minimal dust which protects respiratory health. Small animals can be potty trained to toilet in a specific area, and you can add a litter pan in a corner to keep the rest of the habitat dry and clean.
