Our story began with a move from New Zealand to High River, Alberta. Rollover founder, Judy, brought the recipe for the original Beef Dog Food roll with her when she moved to Canada in 1988.
The semi-moist format was common in New Zealand but entirely unique to the Canadian market. Dog owners in Canada had no fresh food options at that time. Their only choices were kibble or canned food.
Judy had seen the remarkable vitality, health, and energy of dogs eating the beef recipe in New Zealand and was eager to introduce this new, exceptional, less-processed, natural dog food to Canadian dogs. This is how the Rollover story began.
Word spread quickly, and the beef food was so successful that in just a few years, we added Lamb & Rice and Chicken recipes. Over the years, we have grown and expanded our line to meet the needs of Canadian dog owners. Today, we offer a wide variety of semi-moist dog foods and all-natural treats, including our Grain-Free Dog Gone Gourmet line.
Since our launch, our core philosophy has remained the same: to produce all-natural products of the highest quality. This responsibility is one that our dedicated team of 29 dog lovers takes very seriously. We make all of our products in small batches with a dedicated attention to quality and safety.
