Adoption Day

Every Sunday from 2-5pm at Whiskers N Paws, your local pet supplies store hosts a Puppy Adoption Day together with the Hong Kong Dog Rescue (HKDR).  Whiskers N Paws provides the space and HKDR will bring the puppies for adoption. HKDR has homed 350 dogs since 2008, and the number of adopted dogs is still growing.  This event allows for you to familiarize yourself with the puppies, speak with other pet owners perhaps even meet their pets.  Of course the WNP friendly and helpful staff and HKDR team will also be available to answer any questions you may have.  Come and join us for a fun social afternoon!

In 3 simple steps you can have a new pet.

  1. Come pick out a furry friend on Sunday
  2. Fill out the adoption form for HKDR
  3. Once approved, your puppy will be ready to go home with you on the same day.

Things to consider before you adopt a new puppy.

  • Are you allowed to have pets at your home (does the building have any policies against pets)?
  • Does your travel / work schedule allow you to spend quality time with the puppy?
  • Are you able to take the puppy for walks 3 to 4 times a day?
  • If you or your family move to a different country will you be able to bring your pet?

Remember dogs need a whole lot of attention, please think carefully before you adopt!
